Why Film & Television Productions Use Riedel Bolero

Not a walkie. A real conversation.

Riedel Bolero changes the way productions communicate. Instead of waiting for a channel to clear or constantly switching walkie channels, Bolero allows natural full-duplex conversations between departments, crews, and individuals across the set. Instant communication between departments without changing channels. Directors, camera operators, DPs, AD teams, sound, video village, and support crews can communicate instantly and naturally, more like a real conversation than a traditional radio system.

At Sound + Vision, our systems are designed and supported by working production professionals with decades of experience in sound, camera, and on-set communication workflows. We understand how productions actually move because we’ve spent our careers working on set.

Riedel Bolero vs a conventional walkie talkie:

A Riedel Bolero system doesn't just replace your walkies, it rethinks set communications. Six party lines or peer-to-peer connections on every beltpack, true two-way audio, and the clarity to actually hear what's being said, even in a busy environment. No more changing channels to reach another department.

Natural two-way conversations. No waiting for a channel to clear. Talk over each other like you would in person, which is how a set actually works.

6 full-duplex keys, each assignable a to a party line or a direct link between two beltpacks. There’s no need to change channels to speak with different departments.

Bluetooth enabled. We supply SHOKZ bluetooth headsets or use your own AirPods or similar headsets.
